This is a question I am asked often and it is a good question. I can answer it very simply – yes, joining Wealthy Affiliate is a good way to make money online.

Maybe I should be more emphatic about it and say – yes, yes it absolutely is! A simple answer to a very complex question.

What is Wealthy Affiliate?

Simply put Wealthy Affiliate is an online training platform. The owners of WA, Kyle and Carson, have created a comprehensive training program on how to build you’re own niche website or blog. With the free starter membership you can host two siterubix websites for free and access the training to develop them. If you upgrade to a Premium membership you can host up to 50 of you’re own domains, 25 siterubix and 25 .com. If you want to own your own .com domain, you will have to purchase the domain which costs roughly $15 annually however the hosting is free with Wealthy Affiliate.

Once you have your niche and have your domain you can start building your WordPress website. It literally takes under one minute to actually build the site. That said, it might take you a few minutes to find the template or theme for your WordPress site. There are over 3000 to choose from. You can type in some criteria to help you narrow it down and then you can test out any that you are interested in. It is an easy switch if you want to change your theme in the future so don’t over think it.

I am not a techie kind of person and I was able to navigate through and have the start of my website with a few images and pages within an hour.  I don’t know how to write code and to this day I have not written any code.  It is not needed to build a profitable website with Wealthy Affiliate.

Creating Content

Content is what will give your website authority. You will be branding yourself as the expert in your niche. WA has a great site content tool to help you write content. It consists of prebuilt templates and it allows you to create your own templates for future use.

When first developing a site you can use the prebuilt privacy policy template and just add in you site information. WA takes all the guess work out of how to create the pages you must have on your website. Just put in your info and post it on your site. You will have a disclosure and privacy policy on your site in minutes. This is how I was able to create my first website so quickly.

When you create your own content you can use one the other templates and add images of your own or utilize the image library with thousands of images that you can easily download and add into your articles and posts. No searching endlessly for the right image, just type in what you are looking for and choose the image that you like. Site content automatically compresses your images before publishing to assist your site speed. You don’t even have to think about it.

Keywords are how your content will be “found” among all the other content out there. WA has a free keyword tool called Jaaxy. When you are a Premium member you have unlimited keyword searches to help you find the best words and phrases for your posts. This will help you rank in Google and other search engines so you get traffic to your website. You need traffic to make sales. Jaaxy is an invaluable tool for coming up with content ideas and developing those ideas into posts the search engines will rank.

I use Jaaxy for every new post I create. It is fast, easy to use and Free.  And Jaaxy helps my rankings.  What’s not to like?
